Discounted intro ceramic course

Learn how to make and glaze a hand built ceramic mug with Hannah Simpson. This class is perfect for beginners and people who want to give ceramics a go!

This course will go over 2 nights (2 weeks apart). Night 1 will be dedicated to learning how to build your clay creations with a handbuilding technique. Then once your work has dried and been bisque fired we come back for glazing on night 2.

Your creations will be available for pick up 2 weeks after your second class.

You will learn

- How to build a mug using slab building technique
- Basics of hand building ceramics
- how to underglaze and glaze your pieces

What you will get

- A clay creation made by you
- Drinks and snacks
- A Clumsy Clay mug for you to use during class

What to wear

- Clothes you're happy to get messy in

What to bring

- drink bottle
- mess clothes or apron
- small hand towel /wash cloth

As this class will be used as a promotion for ongoing classes there will be photos and videos taken during the course. The discounted price is as a thank you for participating in this. These photos won't be right in your face rather a few natural shots of the table during class. If you would prefer not to have your photo taken future workshops will be more suitable.

Policy

Please attend both classes you've booked. Fill in classes are not available currently for rescheduling.

Please pick up your creations when they're fired. If they aren't picked up within 3 months they will be donated to a local op shop.
